The Beach Trail is a 2- bedroom and 1-bath Mendocino Cottage with an ocean view, situated on a quiet country lane just steps from Glendeven Inn down toward the sea.
This cottage sits at the head of the trail to Van Damme State Park beach, and is flanked by its own private trail leading to the headlands. Find the sandy beach, curious sea lions, spotted harbor seals, hunting osprey, and many tidepools within steps from your door.
The Beach Trail Mendocino Cottage is a two story, fully restored, 150 year old home with fine linens, a fully stocked kitchen, with an upper floor master bedroom providing white water views down the coast looking out over Van Damme State Beach. It is private and quiet, but also within a three minute walk to the amenities of Glendeven and its Wine Bar[n].
The cottage is located just 2 miles south of the Mendocino Village. It is terrific for couples wanting a private, romantic, place to be together, for two couples traveling together, or for families of four. Children over 7 years old are welcomed.

Inn breakfasts are not included in the base pricing. We offer personalized grocery shopping which is available with 24-hour notice.
