Policies
Holiday "Black Out" Periods
for 2010 Specials & Seasonal Pricing
- Valentine's / Washington's Birthday (February
13, 14, 15)
- Memorial Day Weekend (May 29, 30, 31)
- July 4th Weekend (July 3, 4, 5)
- Labor Day Weekend (September 4, 5, 6)
- Thanksgiving Weekend (November 24, 25, 26, 27)
- Christmas Week (December 24 - January 2, 2011)
Check-In
- Check-in is between 3:00pm and
7:00pm. Please let us know if you will be arriving later.
- There are no early check-ins,
as our staff is readying the inn for your arrival until that time.
Check-Out
- Check-out time is 11:00 AM
Reservations
- A deposit of one night's rate
is required to guarantee a 1 or 2 night reservation, 50% of the
total is required for longer reservations.
- Third party gift certificates can be used for
room reservations only.
- All balances are due in full
at check-in.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
American Express and personal checks.
Minimum Stays
- A two-night minimum stay is required
on all weekends when a Saturday night is included. Exceptions
apply in certain circumstances.
- A two-night minimum stay is required
in our vacation rentals -- The
Barn Loft and Sea Ridge Cottage
- Three-night minimums are in effect
for holiday weekends.
- A two-night minimum stay is required
during the week between Christmas and the New Year.
Cancellations
- We must receive notice of cancellation
no later than 14 days prior to your date of arrival.
- If your reservation falls on a holiday period
we must receive notice 21 days prior to your date of arrival.
- Cancellations given PRIOR to 14 (or 21) days
will have the deposit refunded minus a $50 administrative fee.
- Cancellations within 14 days (or 21 days for
holidays) of arrival will forfeit the entire deposit and, if within
three (3) days of arrival, are liable for the entire amount of
the original reservation.
- "No shows", early departures and delayed
arrivals are the same as a cancellation, and all monies due will
be collected.
- All cancellations incur a handling fee of $50
per room.
- All reservation date changes incur a $20 handling
fee per room.
Groups
- For groups reserving three or
more rooms, a 30-day cancellation policy applies, and full payment
in advance is required.
Maximum Occupancies
- Inn rooms are configured for
one or two adults only, with the exception of
Etta's Suite and Pinewood,
which under certain circumstances can accommodate 3 adults.
- The
Barn Loft Vacation Rental can accommodate up to six people,
including children over the age of 7.
- The
Sea Ridge Cottage has a maximum occupancy of two adults
Please Note:
- Rooms are approprate for adult
guests only with the exception of the Barn Loft where children
over the age of 7 are welcoome.
- Smoking is not permitted inside any of our facilities.
- We have a strict no pets policy.
We love animals, but maintain a pet-free inn. If a pet is found
to have stayed in any of our rooms or vacation rentals -- including
the Sea Ridge Cottage -- a $150 deep cleaning fee will be assessed.
- VACATION
RENTAL SECURITY DEPOSIT: Vacation rental guests authorize
a $150 security deposit for both The
Sea Ridge Cottage and The Barn Loft vacation rentals. This
amount will not be charged at time of booking, but will be assessed
in case of any damage or additional cleaning of the houses if
needed.
- HOT TUB FEE: Guests in the Sea
Ridge Cottage have normal cleaning of the hot tub included
in the room rate. If an added fee is assessed to Glendeven Inn
by the spa cleaning service due to use of oils or debris in the
tub, the added fee amount will be passed through to the guests
and charged to the final folio.
